National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO), San Diego, Calif., recently launched the 658-foot S S Blue' Ridge, the first of three 37,500-dwt product carriers that NASSCO is building for West Coast Shipping, a subsidiary of Union Oil Company of California.
